This Carnival will remind us that, at least for a few days, anything is possible!
But the heart of the Fano Carnival, as we all know, is the parade of allegorical floats along Viale Gramsci. This year, four new floats will parade, accompanied by masked groups, musical bands, and street performers ready to engage the audience in an explosion of fun. And then, as tradition dictates, comes the most awaited moment: the "getto", the unique ritual that makes the Fano Carnival special and unmistakable. Over 18,000 kg of candies, chocolates, and sweets will be thrown from the floats directly to the crowd, bringing moments of joy and sweet surprises. It is not just a moment of celebration but a symbol of generosity and sharing, rooted in centuries of history. The parades will be accompanied by an irresistible soundtrack, with the Arabite, the characteristic percussion bands setting the rhythm of the festival.
The Fano Carnival has always been a festival for everyone, with special attention to the little ones. In the gardens of Pincio, a special area will be set up for children, where they can participate in creative workshops, games, and shows designed especially for them. Additionally, during the parades, there will be a "getto" dedicated exclusively to children, allowing them to experience the excitement of the Carnival in a unique and engaging way. And for those who love local delicacies, there will be food stalls offering typical Fano Carnival treats, including the delicious scroccafusi, crunchy on the outside and soft inside, perfect for enjoying while strolling among the masks and confetti.
