Hotel in Fano? We present the CasaDei hotel, in the Marche region, the best 3-star hotel with a beach that you can choose. Among the hotels in Fano, the Hotel CasaDei prides itself on being one of the most; appreciated 3-star hotels in the Marches for hospitality, services and location (practically one of the few hotels overlooking the sea in Fano).
Our Christmas tour through the Marche continues! After last week’s first chapter, today we explore more villages and towns that, during this time of year, turn into little enchanted worlds.
It’s Gradara, one of the most charming villages in Italy. We often talk about it on our blog, because here Christmas comes to life among alleyways lit by soft, warm lights. As you wander through its walls, you might meet dancing elves, the Befana ready to spark a smile, and Santa Claus in his cozy home, always happy to listen to wishes and deliver surprises. The animated and guided visits of the Christmas Experience are unmissable and suitable for all ages: a unique and engaging way to discover the fortress and all its stories. It’s an authentic, surprising Christmas — the kind that stays in your heart.
Those who love art and history cannot miss Urbino dressed for Christmas. Every year, from late November until January 6, the historic centre comes alive with widespread markets and a charming itinerary dedicated to the Nativity Routes, which turns every corner into a discovery. Alongside the nativity scenes, the city offers a rich calendar of events: concerts, workshops for families, shows, exhibitions, bingo events, animations and an ice-skating rink perfect for having fun together. The lighting ceremony of the Christmas tree and the decorations, scheduled for Sunday, December 7, is one of those moments that make you feel truly immersed in the festive spirit.
The Christmas Village in San Benedetto del Tronto offers a rich schedule of animations, exhibitions and concerts for all ages. This year, the most anticipated event is the celebration of the 90th anniversary of the Wholesale Fish Market, on Sunday, December 7 — a special occasion to highlight the city’s maritime heritage. The new year will start with a treat for enthusiasts: the antique fair “L’Antico e le Palme”, from January 3 to 5 in the city centre, always loved by those seeking unique items and curiosities from past times.
Let’s start with Fano, which until January 6 hosts Santa’s Village at the Pincio, an ice-skating rink and Christmas markets spread between the historic centre and the main squares. There are many dates and the spirit is always the same: offering you a Christmas truly lived, with games, stories and activities for children, and with Santa Claus arriving directly from Lapland to meet them. A few kilometres away, Mombaroccio turns into a perfect Christmas-movie setting. Thirty-seven wooden houses bring the medieval village to life on December 6, 7, 8, 13 and 14. At sunset, when the lights turn on, an artificial snowfall begins along the main streets and Piazza Barocci — a magical sight.
We end with Senigallia, where until January 6 the markets at the Rocca Roveresca parterre await you with ornaments, gifts, Christmas décor, gourmet treats and local products. On weekends, the market stays open all day, and every afternoon along Corso 2 Giugno artificial snow falls twice a day, creating a spectacle that attracts visitors of all ages.
And if you’re already dreaming of the warm season, remember that Hotel CasaDei reopens in April: Easter 2026 could be the perfect excuse to book a few days by the sea and enjoy another beautiful side of our region. We can’t wait to welcome you!
