Hotel in Fano? We present the CasaDei hotel, in the Marche region, the best 3-star hotel with a beach that you can choose. Among the hotels in Fano, the Hotel CasaDei prides itself on being one of the most; appreciated 3-star hotels in the Marches for hospitality, services and location (practically one of the few hotels overlooking the sea in Fano).
From June 25 to 29, 2025, our city of Fano transforms into a large open-air cultural stage thanks to the Passaggi Festival, returning for its 13th edition. A kaleidoscope of meetings, presentations, and performances—all free—dedicated to the world of nonfiction. But this year, there's something new worth highlighting: new venues added to the already rich urban and seaside itinerary of the festival. From Renaissance courtyards and secret gardens to beachfront locations overlooking the Adriatic, every corner of the city vibrates with culture. And to underscore the importance of the event, the Minister of Culture, Alessandro Giuli, will also attend, presenting a book full of food for thought.
Every year, Passaggi Festival expands, explores, and experiments—and 2025 is no exception. This edition introduces four new venues in the heart of Fano that broaden the scope of the festival and further intertwine it with the city’s history and identity. For the first time, the Corte Malatestiana becomes the stage for theatrical performances, while the Radicioni Garden hosts graphic novels and comics in a relaxed and bohemian atmosphere. The Cloister of San Paterniano opens its doors to a new section dedicated to religious publishing, and the Passaggi Libri e Caffè bookshop—with its art exhibition—offers a space where you can leaf through books and thoughts over an espresso and a chat. It’s the city becoming a book, welcoming readers and authors in its most charming corners.
Some places have become part of the soul of the festival. Piazza XX Settembre remains its beating heart, the natural stage for leading nonfiction authors. Just a few steps away, the Pincio gives voice to new generations with the “Music & Social” program, where words meet music and social media become tools for critical thinking. The Montanari Media Library continues to inspire children with books and workshops, while the Bastione Sangallo—a true terrace of emotions—hosts the “Mind Body Soul” program, perfect for those seeking a balance between reading and introspection. And then there’s the tea room L’Uccellin Bel Verde, with its scientific talks in collaboration with the University of Camerino, adding a touch of research and curiosity to the schedule.
To confirm the prestige achieved by the festival, the Minister of Culture, Alessandro Giuli, will attend. On the final day, June 29, he will present his new essay Antico presente. Viaggio nel sacro vivente (published by Baldini+Castoldi). It is an in-depth exploration of the relationship between spirituality and the contemporary world. His presence not only draws national attention but also serves as formal recognition of the cultural importance of Passaggi Festival, which for years has successfully blended critical thinking and outreach with a vibrant, accessible, and engaging identity. A festival where words are not only read but lived.
So, what are you waiting for? Come and discover this fascinating blend of books, sea, and urban theatre.
