The words of the mayor evoke the image of coaches with a unique talent in hand, that is a city ready to play an extraordinary championship to establish itself as a true champion. The project, focused on sustainability and involving the entire community, is a collective work that requires the collaboration of various actors, including the enthusiasm of local businesses. In this perspective, international presentations in New York, Berlin, and Monaco are already underway, using these occasions to present Pesaro 2024 to the world.
The engines of the year as Capital of Culture are starting for Pesaro with the Christmas period already inaugurated on November 26, followed by CaterCapodanno, enriched with words, music, and the presence of illustrious guests under the guidance of the hosts of the Caterpillar program on Rai Radio2. The official inauguration of the year of the Italian Capital of Culture is set for January 20, with the presence of the President of the Republic Sergio Mattarella. The Vitrifrigo Arena will then host an institutional event followed by a non-stop party involving all generations. From January to May, the project "Sculptures in the city: 1971-2024" will find space in the Centro Arti Visive Pescheria, offering a remarkable artistic experience.
